One week to go

Well, we're nearly there. Today we've been around to Ash's parents for our engagement/farewell party at the River Cafe. Ash's Mum and Dad are clearly happy to see the back of him, celebrating with a bottle of Dom Perignon, courtesy of Bianca's parents! Lots on next week, all the final bits and pieces to tie up, a few drinks and farewell get togethers.

Packing woes, but we're nearly there!

Wow, this whole getting sorted thing is hard work! We're nearly done, but it just seems that all the last minute bits really are very time consuming, whether it be sorting out the banks so we can access them abroad, getting shot with lots of different tropical disease immunisations, to getting all the final travel bits and pieces. The flat's starting to look more and more empty, but we know it's not for much longer now!

Bi and I have gotten all technological and have decided to set this up to let you all know how we're doing on our round-the-world trip, where we are, and perhaps we'll upload a few nice piccies now again.
